This is the kitchen were we do all the good stuff. We use this kitchen for cooking. There are two more kitchens here, one for the cold buffet and one for the bakery. We serve about 80 guests when the restaurants are open.
The restaurant is just open day time except from a few days a year when we do evening service. Now we have some evenings opened before christmas, we have made a christmas influenced meny. There is also a few evenings in the spring when the third year students do their master thesis.
A great kitchen - thanks for the information about the opening hours - 80 people is a lot. How many students would be needed to cater for this number? Do you run shifts? It must be complex having the restaurant always staffed adequately I imagine
ups...I forgot to tell that there are two restaurants in the school but they use the same kitchen. In the a la carte restaurant we serve about 45 persons a day and in the other one we serve daily specials, one meat and one fish we serve about 50 to 70 guests. When both restaurants are opened there are two classes in the kitchen. About 35 students I think. You asked about shifts, and we don`t have that. Both are opened during day time.
Is the restaurant only open at lunchtime or is it also open some evenings?
